CRANBERRY, Scientific Name :  Vaccinium macrocarpon
Have originated in North America, CRANBERRY derived its name from "Craneberry" (as it was called by the early European settlers in America). The US and Canada are the top two Cranberries-producing nations in the world, with more than 1/3 of harvested cranberries turned into juice.

They are also called "Bounceberries" because a good, ripe Cranberries will bounce.
