ELDERBERRIES, Scientific Name :  Sambucus spp.
This fruit, ELDERBERRIES, is quite a confusing fruit with a lot species group. Filipinos are not quite familiar with this fruit. It is said that Austria, presently, is the world's largest producer of this fruit which is really packed with Vital Nutrients. Health Benefits from ELDERBERRIES
  • Anthocyanins found in elderberries have more antioxidant capacity than either vitamin E or vitamin C.
  • Research from the Austrian University of Graz showed that elderberry extract reduces oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol.
  • There have been article about Black Elderberry extract as very effective for helping to prevent H5N1 type of bird flu.
