Vitamin B12 is the one vitamin that is available only from fish, poultry, meat or dairy sources in food. Fruits and Vegetables do not have this Vital Nutrient that is why readers of this blog will not see this Vital Nutrient in the Vital Nutrient list.

  • For adults : 2.4 mcg
  • For Women who are pregnant or lactating : 2.6 - 2.8 mcg
  • Children : 0.9 - 2.4 mcg
